The Ten Sentences

Last week my friend and I were bored after three weeks of holidays, so we rode our bikes to Marina Beach which is only five kilometers from where I live. When we arrived at the beach, we were surprised to see there was hardly anyone there. After having a quick dip in the ocean, which was really cold, we realized one reason there were not many people there. It was also quite windy. After we bought some hot chips at the take away store nearby, we rode our bikes down the beach for a while, on the hard, damp part of the sand. We had the wind behind us and before we knew it, we were many miles down the beach. Before we made the long trip back, we decided to paddle our feet in the water for a while, and then sit down for a rest. While we were sitting on the beach, just chatting, it suddenly dawned on us that all the way back, we would be riding into the strong wind. When we finally made it back home, we were both totally exhausted. But we learned some good lessons that day.

Comparative 10 Sentences

Mr. Zacky and Mr. Asbi differ from each other in some ways. Mr. Zacky is older and taller than Mr. Asbi. He is more diligent and he gets things done more quickly than Mr. Asbi does. On the other hand, Mr. Asbi is less busy than Mr. Zacky because he only keeps house and run a small business at home. Mr. Asbi is much interested in music. Mr. Zacky has children as many as Mr. Asbi does, each has two. Mr. Zacky’s children are Peter and Suzan. Peter is a vocational school student and Suzan is a Junior High School student. Peter is probably the best student in his class, but Emmy is not. Peter’s hobbies are the same as Suzan’s but he gets better grades than she does. Mr. Asbi’s children are Adam and Eve. Eve is as intelligent as Peter but Adam is lazier than Emmy.

Mr. Zacky is an expert businessman and his wife is a house wife. He works for a company. He likes the job very much. He has one son and one daughter, Asbi and Tya. Asbi is a student of Semarang State University. He has ambitions for the future. He'd like to work abroad, although he is not sure in which job. Tya is a student of Semarang University. She wants to be a company director. She never plans very far in the future, she wants to get married and has children.

Tya has a boyfriend. His name is Zake Brown. Zake has the most clever cat in our town.  Tya has a skillful cat too, but Zake’s cat is still the most cunning. Zake’s cat is smarter than Tya’s. He trains harder than Tya. His cat grows more active and healthy. Every two months, he joins the cat competition. Nearly everybody enters for  that, but Zake wins every time.

First Paragraph

Tya is a girl. She is nineteen years old. Tya has always loved English course. Now she is making plans to become an English teacher. She has taken teachership classes. Her lecturer is impressed with her skill. Tya is also belongs to an English Association. She likes performing in all kinds of contest. Story-telling is her favorite. Soon Tya will have to decide which skills to develop. She may become an English teacher. She may decide to become a storryteller.

Second Paragraph

Katty Perry is a famous singer who lives in a beautiful house in Los Angeles. She often flies to different cities around the United States to sing. Her excellent singing is loved by both fans and friends. Sentul International Convention Center doesn’t have enough seats for the fans who want to come to her concert. Eventhough they are unhappy about ticket prices, they wait in line and pay more than one million to see Katty’s play.

Third Paragraph

Tom is my classmate who likes sport very much, so he join the sports club in our school. Tom likes playing many kinds of sportsman; for example, he plays football, basketball, and baseball. Tom prefers baseball to basketball. Baseball seems more interesting to Tom. Tom feels baseball is a really gentleman’s sport, for it is more structured than basketball; moreover, baseball requires athletes to use more skill than agression when playing, so Tom respects baseball players the most because of this.

Fourth Paragraph

I have a best friend whose name is Septia Jati Iswara. I usually called her Tia. She is twenty years old. She is single but she has a boyfriend who studies at music education. Tya studies in mathematic education at Semarang State University. Her hobbies are listening to music and singing. Besides she interested in Arithmetic, she also interested in writing. Her career plan is become a good mathematic teacher, so she will study hard to become a good mathematic student.

Fifth Paragraph

I should study for final exam; on the other hand, I have to finish my research paper, so I go to the library. At the library, I meet my friend, his name is Asbi. Asbi got an A in his grammar course last semester; therefore, he is eligible for a scholarship. Actually, the colleges can get a scholarship conditionally; for instance, they must get an AB in their all courses.

Sixth Paragraph

My birthday was on last Monday, so I asked for a car. My parents bought me a blue car, and it has white strips on its body. I like to ride may car everywhere; moreover, my parents allow me to ride it to the campus. Whenever I have time, I ask my friends to hang out together by my new car.
